We only needed 2 pts to get us to Platinum status so we decided to book a 1 night cruise in a suite. However, I had noticed that the cruise prices had decreased so I called to see if anything else could be done. And was it!!!!! - we ended up being upgraded to an Owner's Suite - 10004. It had: 4 phones, 3 tv's, 2 bathrooms, 2 balcony's, seating for 15+, etc...It was a shame that we only had it for 1 night.

Embarkation was a breeze - since we were staying in a suite, we were processed quickly, taken to the small room for refreshments and then taken upstairs to meet the concierge and then to lunch in Cagney's. We had sailed on the Gem in March and were familiar with Cagney's. The thought is good - allow suites to eat breakfast and lunch there. Well, every time we eat there, the service isn't good. We are ignored, when tables around us are being asked for their orders. We see coffee being served, but skipping us. And for breakfast, it was a joke. We weren't asked for bread orders, while the table next to us was. The fresh fruit and misc foods weren't where they were in April so I presumed that they weren't available on the 1 night cruise. It wasn't until we overheard another table pointing and talking about it, that we saw it. None of the wait staff had told us.

The show was good -we had seen the main dance show in March. I was surprised to see how empty the Stardust Theatre was. The comedian was excellent. We spent time at the casino and broke even.
