Let's start with the airport, ft Lauderdale as Southwest flies in non stop from Denver. This airport is overwhelmed with cruise travelers. Our security wait was over an hour and every spot in the airport is over whelmed. Fly in and out on non cruise days!

Epic has a capacity of 4100 people, this is twice as larger as the other ships like the Sun or the Dawn we have been on. Public areas don't support this many people on the out to sea days and service is average at best. Most restaurants now have a sur charge as it appears the cruise ships are using the airline models to generate extra profits. Food was ok except at Cagneys and Le Bistro, these were both excellent.

Getting on and off the ship was the fastest ever, in part because we carried our luggage to and from the cabin.

Cabin Review

Bed was comfortable, patio is decent size. Late cleanings.
