Ok to start off I am from Lake Charles,La and I am about three hours drive away from New Orleans. We began our drive over at about 9:30 and got to the port for embarkation at 1:00. We paid our $98.00 fee to park our car for the week in the parking garage and then a man took all of our checked luggage. We parked our car and then went to check in. We went through a security check line similar to airport security, and then we waited in another line to check in. The line seemed long but moved rather quickly, we were probably in line for thirty mins total. We took our picture and were lead onto the boat, as soon as we got to the boat I was pleasantly surprised that they immediately sprayed our hands with alcohol. After we swiped our card we went to our stateroom. We found our room pretty easily it was on the 4th deck which is the Biscayne Deck. We went into our room which was smaller than our Royal Caribbean one but that was expected. We were hungry so we decided to go to the Garden Cafe to have lunch. I will try not to be too negative because I tend to be a picky eater. I was not impressed... the fruit was always good and the salad was also but honestly that was it oh yeah I liked the blueberry muffins. All of the food tended to taste the same. Think school cafeteria...I think they should have a wider variety of foods the buffet was small. Ok so we went back to our room and got a couple of our bags and unloaded our things. We went to our muster station for the drill and that lasted for about 20 or so mins -always a necessary pain.

From there it was about 5:00 and we started exploring. We attended the sailaway barbeque which was ok and we were nagged to death by waiters trying to sell us drinks in souvenir glasses. Which leads me to my next statement- I love Pina coladas but was disappointed in theirs. So we made it an early night and headed back to our stateroom and watched the tv. The next morning we got up and headed to the Garden Cafe for breakfast. One thing I can say that I truly appreciated was the fact that they made you sanitize your hands before every meal, I think all restaurants should have that. Mainly on our first day we ate and slept we were tired. That evening we ate at East Meets West the Steakhouse, I wasn't too thrilled it reminded me of like a Ryan's Steakhouse just OK. On Tuesday morning we were in Costa Maya, and the excursion we chose was snorkeling. We waited probably about 45 mins for our bus to take us to an area where there was a boat waiting for us and we were sweating hot. I just feel that this Port was too unorganized. The reef where we snorkeled wasn't that pretty but it was still fun. Ok so after that we got back to the boat and ate at the Outdoor Cafe. My husband enjoyed the hamburgers and I liked the veggie pizza and french fries. On Wednesday we were in Santo Tomas which was surprisingly nice. We did the Las Escobas waterfalls and it was neat to trek in the jungle and absorb nature. The waterfalls were gorgeous and it was amazing to see. So after this excursion we were quite tired and ate at the Four Seasons which was ok and then I had my massage. I work at a spa so I always like to visit one where ever I go so it was nice. On Thursday we were in Belize which is gorgeous. We did the snorkeling and beach break. Which I believe they were more professional. The fish were beautiful and the coral formations were also.

The water was unreal!! The beach break was ok we really did not have much time at all to chill out but at the same time we were tired because there was a strong current were we snorkeled so we were exhausted. We got back to the boat and went swimming and the pool was very nice and felt good..my husband preferred the hot tub. On Friday we were in Cozumel. Out of all the ports this one was my favorite. Cozumel has beautiful water and so much more to do. We did the Playa Mia beach break I recommend this one. The beach is beautiful and I liked the buffet lunch. It had an open bar, water trampoline, iceberg, sail boats, paddle boats. Awesome! That night we ate at Seven Seas and I had Steak which was good with Curried Butternut Squash soup which was awesome. On Saturday we mainly just ate and relaxed. I felt that the employees were very friendly and kind, I felt that the ship was very clean. My husband and I really did not care for the food. So on Sunday we decided to do the express disembarkation...man was this a joke we were to meet on deck 6 at 7:15 well we did and did not get off the boat until about 8:30. We were in a long winding line and when the doors opened there was mass hysteria people were fighting and being so rude and there was no direction. So the line thing is a joke. It is funny when it is time to get off the boat you are so mad and aggravated and it almost undoes all the relaxing you did for a week. Well what I found quite interesting is the crew did a 180- they could care less if people were getting hurt fighting whatever. A couple of people complained and they were like well what do you want me to do. That kind of put a bad taste in my mouth but whatever. So would I recommend this cruise I am not sure, I have been on Royal Caribbean before and they are pretty close but I think the food was better on the Royal Caribbean. So that's about it if you have any questions feel free to ask.
