Just a little background info: This is my 7th cruise and my husbands 4th, this was our 2nd cruise this year. We sailed on the Holiday in June with my extended family and this cruise was our no-kids vacation this year. I am 42 and hubby is 46.

Embarkation went fine as always, we have never had problems sailing from Pt. Canaveral, it's easy to navigate and the staff are very friendly. We arrived at 11:30 and we were on the ship by 12:30.

Our cabin was not ready until 1:20, that was disappointing but not a big deal and well worth the wait. This was our first balcony and we'll never go back! What a difference a private balcony can make on a cruise. And of course the Carnival bedding is so inviting you want to sleep all the time. The cabin was very clean, the layout was ideal and we had plenty of room.
