Crown Princess, November 11 - 18, 2006, Southern Caribbean

DH and I are both 38, no kids. This was our 4th cruise, our second with Princess. This was a great itinerary and the Crown Princess is a beautiful ship. We thoroughly enjoyed the week.

Embarkation: We flew into San Juan on Friday and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Condado. The HI Express offers a clean room in a nice area, but not much more. The rooms and bathrooms are very small and spartan. However, it was quiet and was fine for a one night stay. We took a cab the Pan Am Pier, arriving around 11:30 AM on Saturday. There was a short line at this time, and after standing outside for only a few minutes, we were let into an area with rows of chairs to sit in. Around 12:15, the check-in area opened and we were on the ship shortly thereafter. Definitely the best embarkation experience out of all our cruises. Note: The duty free liquor store is directly across from the check-in area. Just place your purchases in your carry on bag and walk on the ship no questions asked.
