My friend and I disembarked on August 11th from New Orleans onboard the beautiful and elegant Carnival Conquest. Boarding the ship was simple and fast, and our staterooms were ready in less than 15 minutes after we were onboard, bags and everything already next to the door. We met the steward and he was great! He was always ready to do whatever you asked of him. He and his whole crew never missed the chance to say "Hello!" or "Good morning! I hope you rested well!" or anything that could have possibly made you feel welcome. The room service was swift and fast, food always hot a fresh. And the housekeeping crews towel art just seemed to get better and better each night. Especially on our last abroad! We had three flowers and a bunny awaiting us on the bed! It was great! Food was great, always fresh and served fast. The dining areas were elegant and the waiters made you feel like you were number one! I loved the dancing that they did every once in awhile too! The cruise was very smooth, even through a windy thunderstorm. I loved the artwork! I'm a huge art fan so the Conquest was the best for me!

The staterooms were decently big, very cozy and comfortable. We had a balcony stateroom so we had a great view. We had a flatscreen TV that was great for watching movies at night! We didn't know it was allowed, but you can bring any gaming console along in your carry on.

I am going back on another cruise in August aboard the Carnival Magic! I hope to be just as impressed by it as I was by the Conquest!
