My husband and I went on the Maine Coast and Harbor Cruise this past September. We had not gone on any other cruises because the idea of being on a large ship with thousands of other passengers did not appeal to us.

When we read an advertisement for American Cruise Lines and saw the cruise to Maine we decided to book our cruise, having taken a wonderful vacation to Maine nearly twenty years ago. The prices are slightly higher than on the huge cruise ships but the experience was wonderful and well worth it.

We had a spacious room, enjoyed meeting people on the ship, as we were two of only 46 passengers. The personal attention was very nice with fun and energetic cruise directors, a very personable Captain and all with whom we came in contact were very nice and accommodating.
