Arrival in Barcelona was total chaos at the airport. We had been told our luggage would be taken directly from the flight to our cabin, we would not see it after check-in at our home airport. At Barcelona we went looking for a rep only to find one outside who was curt and told us we had to go back and collect our luggage and check in with the rep inside!! Eventually we located our luggage and checked it in about a few yards away where it was left on a trolley for transportation to the ship. Had to wait for another flight coming in before (eventually) we were led, hot and bothered, to minibuses for the journey to the ship where we arrived a couple of hours after landing.

The dress code was not enforced whatsoever and there were both men and women in the dining rooms wearing denim jeans, T-shirts and shorts. Not just on the smart casual nights but also on the formal evenings. Very disappointing for those who had dressed for the occasion. We were so annoyed that we chose not to partake of the second formal evening and opted for a pizza instead rather than use the dining room !

The staff (waiters, bartenders and cabin stewards) were all very attentive, pleasant and kind. Nothing was any bother to them. The food was lovely though could have done with being hot rather than warm, but the best meal we had was at the steakhouse. The steak was to die for!!!!.

Cabin Review

The cabin was fine, although compact. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and toiletries were provided. The bed was comfortable. The only thing it lacked was tea/coffee making facilities.
