This was our first time traveling on Carnival. Probably would not go on Carnival again. My husband and I are not drinkers, gamblers, or dancers. It seems to us that most of the cruisers on the ship were drinkers, which is fine if that's what you're into and it seems that Carnival caters to this group of people. Going through or near the casino was disgusting to us non-smokers. The ventilation in the casino is terrible. Smoking should not be allowed indoors.

We chose to eat at the buffet for all meals.

Breakfast: the first day we got the scrambled eggs at the buffet. Both of us tried them and were pretty disgusted as they weren't real eggs. I don't even think they were egg beaters, My guess is they were powdered eggs. The 2nd day we went to the omelet station and I asked if they use real eggs, The cook said he would use them for me. So they don't use them for the average person who goes up their for an omelet. Another option for real eggs at the omelet station is they will do over-easy, over-hard eggs there for you.
