my husband and I usually travel on the NCL Dawn which we like very much. This ship disappointed us. We didn't get our luggage delivered to the room until 7:30pm--one couple on the ship had their luggage lost. The ship just changed their menus on this cruise which was also a disappointment- most of the foods were spicy. We ate at one of their specialty restaurants "LeBistro" and they too changed the menus-we were looking forward to their surf and turf and chocolate fondue which was now unavailable. the safe in the room was in the closet on the bottom of the floor which was totally inconvenient, our safe jammed 3x and security seemed annoyed with us--as if it was our fault. It seemed on this cruise a lot of the crew were first timers as if it were their maiden voyage--some didn't even know the table locations. My husband is a cigar smoker and on the dawn they had a separate room looking out to an area where they had a singer and bar. On the Spirit it was a small room with only the ocean to look at. He was very displeased. I'm in the process of booking a cruise for march and will probably go back to the Dawn or try a different cruise line. The funny thing I found was when I went down to the NCL desk to get pricing for a future cruise which they said was the cheapest on the market- they were so over priced--I had previously got prices from my on line agency--the agent said he knows that they are more expensive and did not have great rooms to choose from. They need to work on their pricing. Over all we would not go back to the SPirit
