Sail Date: September 2013
Destination: Canada & New England
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)
Our first cruise on celebrity after a couple each on HAL and Princess. We were led to believe that celebrity was a much better cruise line. We did not think it was.

Cabin (2B) seemed smaller than what we had on other lines. Entertainment was probably better. Crew seemed inexperienced. Both cabin crew and dining crew had to be told twice or three times to bring ice or stop by our table once in awhile to offer some service. They finally got it right later in our cruise. Food was just average and did not have the variety of other lines. Excursions generally were well done. Gaspe port was a wasted stop. Understand that they will substitute Newfoundland next year. A good idea.

Thought there were just too many sea days. Not many activities aboard ship as compared to our other cruises. Tough to find a spot out of the cabin to sit and read. Finally found a spot on the 11th deck, forget the name, but they kept running us out for a special event. Check in and check out went More smoothly. Portland and Bar Harbor were good stops. Quebec was the best. Weather was good all the way. Overall experience was good but not great. Less

Cabin review:

Though it was small and tough to get around. Balcony was nice but generally not very clean. Our cabin was however a good location.
