First let me say that this is our 10th cruise and all on RCCL. We booked our own air and pre-hotel stay the night before in Long Beach. Weather was great and seas were calm for the most part.

Embarkation: Mostly smooth, we got a new employee that was having a little trouble with the procedures but we were checked in and boarded in less than 20 minutes. On to the pool bar to meet some other M&M guests.

Cabin: First time in a Grand Suite, roomy but we had maintenance three times during the trip to fix leaky faucets, lights that did not work, and to fix carpet that we kept tripping over. However, our attendant Rhonda, was probably the best we have ever had. She seemed to anticipate our needs and wants and it was done. Some of the pillows needed replacing because the stuffing was coming out in several places. We did get the new bedding and sheets during the trip and that was very nice.
