This was our second cruise on the Disney Dream. The first was October 2012 and was our first cruise ever we sailed with our 8 yr old son.
Since we had never been on a cruise we really couldn't compare it to other cruise lines however after sailing Disney twice I don't want to sail any other cruise line. I just don't think it gets better than Disney Cruise Line I really don't. Yes, I have heard its more expensive but I'm a strong believer in "You get what you pay for" simple as that.
Also the vacation is actually for our son so we totally wanted something kid friendly. However, we were shocked at what a great vacation for US it turned out to be. The adult areas are nice & ADULTS ONLY! It's strictly enforced too which is great.
Cabin Review
Excellent cabin it was awesome the split bathroom is the best idea ever. Not very noisy at all, great layout I lived the raised bed. It was a perfect suitcase stowaway there were so many drawers & the table was actually a storage space. Large window with cushioning was my son's favorite he sat in it a lot.
