Looked forward to this cruise as had a busy year and there would be no hassle of flying!! Was pleased with everything on board. All staff were friendly and helpful . This was our eighth cruise with Royal Caribbean so we knew how everything would be. The few things we were disappointed in was not anything RCI had failed on. The failings were on some, in fact quite a few, of our fellow Brits. The cruise consisted of mainly senior cruisers so the bad manners could not be blamed on the young!! They pushed in on the lifts! I thought we Brits knew how to queue??!! In the theatre they couldn't wait for the artists to finish their act before rushing out!! Where were the buses they were rushing to catch??

The dining room was the other place that they (the Brits) let themselves down. We were first sitting and the dress code for dining room is no shorts. We like the dining room as we like to dress for the occasion. There were a few people around us who either did not see, or could not read the notice about the dress code. One table in particular first sitting, was empty most nights then on the formal nights two men (you couldn't call them gentlemen) arrived in long shorts, the kind that only look good on small boys, scruffy t shirts and hats!!! I wonder why they only graced us with their presence on formal nights and very poorly dressed!! I was very disappointed that the staff did nothing about this even when it was pointed out to them!!

That is the end of my moans. We didn't let it spoil our cruise, the whole cruise lived up to RC standards. Cabin staff dining staff and bar staff all lived up to our expectations. Excursions were well run and thoroughly enjoyable. So we would certainly cruise with RC again. In fact we have put a deposit down on another one, we just have to decide where to go.
