Just got back home after 14 wonderful nights sailing from Singapore to Fremantle. We were a group of 8 adults 2 in obstructed view cabin (D617) and 4 in balcony cabins B635 and B 634. We really didn't want to get off. Our cabins were great and serviced twice a day by a terrific cabin steward. We had 4 formal nights but only attended 2 as we really didn't want to get all dressed up, (casual suited us fine), we did find the servings small but they were delicious. we really enjoyed the buffet style at horizon court, more choices to suit all tastes. ( yes there is melamine plates but this is to help us especially if there is rough seas and cloth napkins and cutlery are already set on the tables.) You can eat inside or outside of the buffet area. the new Grill area was great Yes it did have meat pies, but they also made you fresh hamburgers, hotdogs and fries with all the condiments you wished, they also had spareribs, chicken wings and salads.we could not fault the food breakfast, lunch and dinner. ( though some chose to do so. I wonder what they eat at home!!!!!)
All the staff were wonderful. Rafael in the bar made Grand Final day a joy, Richard in the new cafe was an absolute champion. you can purchase specialty coffees( or buy a coffee card which gives 15 coffees for $35.00 instead of $45.00 with free paninis or danish pastries or cakes and tarts) they also have a pizzeria, free if you dine in or $2.50 delivered to your cabin, there is also a new ice creamery on board also free. If you want you can have room service also free of charge 24/7.
My only disappointment were the shore excursions. The ports are some 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours away from destinations which meant a lot of time on coaches. but that said the tours we did were great. ( They should delete Lombok, not nice.)
