Left Sydney for our first cruise. Travelled with 2 teenage daughters and hubby. Embarkment was a breeze getting on, quick and efficient, but disembarkment had a delay of 2 hours. Throughly enjoyed the whole cruising experience, only thing I had to do was unpack and pack clothes. Food was amazing in Luke Morgan, well worth the surcharge, and of a consistant good standard in the Waterfront. We ate there for all meals and the daily specials provided a good variety. The Plantation was awful, food quality was poor, it was noisy and crowded and we did not enjoy fighting to get food or to find a table. Used the outdoor burger bar a few times, only because it was open till later in the afternoon and we were hungry after shore tours. Poor quality of food also.

Throughly enjoyed all the bars and entertainment. Was always something to do, infact had to miss out on some activities as we ran out of time. Drink prices were a bit steep and cocktails were lacking alchol content but enjoyed the NZ wines and Aussie beers.

Our cabin had a window which we loved and it was of a large enough size for the 4 of us. We spent no time in it anyway. It was quiet, clean, had comfortable beds and our daily service was of an excellent standard. Friends had a balcony but were unable to use it because it was too cold and windy. A waste of time if you are travelling in the middle of winter.
