We have just returned from 7 nights on the Costa Mediterranea. This was our first cruise and we were really nervous. WOW, We have no problems whatsoever. The whole experience was fabulous. We embarked at Heraklion Crete (Not Yokohama as above Crete not on the list of options) and sailed to Santorini,Israel, Turkey, Cyprus and Rhodes before arriving back in Crete.

The ship was spotless. It certainly looks impressive and does have the wow factor.

Food was excellent. We ate in the buffet at breakfast and lunch times but in the main restaurant in the evenings. The evening meals are very small, so we just ensured we had a larger lunch (and Afternoon tea which was also very good). Evening meals are in 2 sittings 7pm and 9.15 we prefer to eat earlier so was pleased to be allocated the 7pm slot.

Cabin Review

Cabin was clean, smart and pretty much what we expected. It was cleaned every day but they go into your cabin in the evenings to give you the daily ship news letter and anything else you may have ordered. And they do a quick tidy round at that time too.
