Wife & I have been loyal Carnival crusiers for more than 15 years. We have never experienced such a poor level of service from Carnival. Food was cold most of the time. Ship was crowded and finding quiet space was a chore.

We did not even meet our room stewart, Nova until the 2nd day of sailing. On our 4th night, they actually forgot to turn down our room. As this was our 32nd anniversary, we were hoping to enjoy some familiar ports and experience Grand Turk on our actual anniversary day. As this was a goal that we were in control of, we suceeded but through no help from Carnival. Port time is very short and there is barely time to explore anything or shop local stores. It really seemed as though Carnival wanted you on the ship as much as possible to spend more money with the cruise line.

One night, we were visitied by the security guard at 1:30 am who stated that he was walking by our room and noticed our TV was on and would we mind turning it off. His time would have been better spent walking the decks as a drunk passenger was discovered dead in a hot tub.

Cabin Review

Deck 8 was a good location and close by most everything. Standard balcony room with nothing special to note.
