We have just returned from our AMAZING cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Spirit.

We embarked in the stunning city of Venice. Getting to the ship from the airport was actually quite easy. We got an ATVO bus to the pizzalle Roma (6, I think) then from there we got the people mover to the port. This was one euro and you really couldn't miss where to get it. At the port there was a NCL rep present to direct you to a complimentary shuttle bus (or you could just walk 10 minutes to the ship). Our inside cabin was on a low floor (4493) but was in a fantastic location for getting on and off the ship. It was really quiet we were actually surprised at how spacious it was with a grand sized bathroom equipped with a hair dryer. Mark our cabin attendant was brilliant.

The ship itself is beautiful. We have cruised with bigger ships before such as celebrity solstice but this ship seemed more intimate and very classy with mainly Asian decor. The promenade wraps around the whole ship which I thought was a nice touch. The gym is small but very well equipped and the pool and 4 hot tubs were never too crowded. In fact, we had a completely fully booked ship but it never seemed crowded. We always got sun loungers and seats in the restaurant. Read more
