On oct 15th 2007 my wife nancy 54 an myself age 55 went on our very first cruise.  We don't like flying so we took a bus to the Port Authority Bus station in NY an preceded by cab to the dock. We read many reviews about the Dawn some bad some good. I'm not going to write a long review all i can say is that me an my wife had a blast.  The entertainment on the ship was great,the food was great,the ship is beautiful. AT dinner the staff was always friendly,asking if everything is ok an always filling your glass of water before its empty.  All I can say if you don't have a good time on the dawn than you need to see a shrink.

For first time cruises we got a patch from our doctor to ward off sea sickness,.We did not get sick once.  As far as the Bahamas it would have been nice if they didn't stop in Florida an spent more time in the Bahamas. Also me an my wife don't drink.,so if you drink be prepared to run up a bill. So folks take this cruise relax an have fun we did.
