This was our 2nd time with thomson cruises (previously we t on the majesty). There were nine of us celebrating a 70 th birthday and a wedding anniversary. Our ages ranged from 9 - 73. We were really pleased with our suites. Fahrudin was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

The ship was fully booked when we went and you could tell especially around the pool. There was limited space but we chose this cruise for the itinerary not the sunbathing. If we had wanted that we would have gone to a hotel. The lido restaurant was fine for breakfast and lunch and we went to the meridian for evening meal. Our waiter Noel was fantastic. He couldn't do enough for us. We had the same table every night.

Entertainment was fair. Some of our party thought it was excellent, I preferred liberty's upstairs or hemming ways. Our teenage boys found enough to keep them occupied and had a wonderful time. We did see some people queuing for the restaurant - you just have to pick the right time. The drinks package was fair we found. We certainly wouldn't have wanted to be paying every time we wanted a drink. The ports were great in the main - Athens and Istanbul being the highlights. Did not get to Mykonos because of strong winds so went to bodrum instead.

Cabin Review

Great but some vibration.
