First let me start off by saying that this is my 6th cruise overall, 5th with carnival. I really enjoyed myself and had a great time with the family.

Embarkation- very smooth and easy. The port of miami is very organized. We were on board within 30 minutes of arriving. From there we were able to go to our room right away to drop off our bags and then we headed to the lido for lunch. Tip: the first day of the cruise many people are not sure where everything is located yet. Go to the cucina del capitiano for a pasta bar lunch. It is free, there is no wait, and the make your own pasta is delicious.

Food- as usual very good. The lido buffet did feel more crowded on the breeze than on previous ships but it wasnt too bad. The longest you had to wait in line for the basic buffet is 10 minutes. Specialty options such as the deli, Guys burgers, and the blue iguana cantina had almost always no wait and are DELICIOUS. We had dinner in the blush dining room for 6:15.Our servers were amazing! Raymond was our headwaiter but also had many other tables so we rarely saw him. But, our assistant waiter Balik was fantastic. So friendly and funny. Knew our names after the first day.Our bar server I Ynoman was nice and had our soda on the table before we sat down.
