What can I say, other than what a waste and what a terrible company to holiday with.

My wife and I are very experienced travellers, having travelled extensively on our own and through agencies, including a number of cruise holidays with Royal Carribean, Celebrity and Thomson.

Excuse me being blunt, but MSC are by far the worst company I have dealt with in our many years of travel.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5

Cabins on MSC are aligned with all other lines we have travelled on. The biggest issue is that it is difficult to navigate as a lot of the floors are blocked from direct lift access and you have to navigate along corridors. Overall the cabins are fine but the service is poor compared to other lines.

Port Reviews

Ibiza

The best place in the world. Float between the old town, Talamanca beach and Bottafoche Marina. Wonderfull.

Villefranche

Almost as good as Ibiza Old Town. Don't wast time and money on excursions, the little town itself is beautiful and worth just walking around or sitting on the beach.

Genoa

Nothing special, worth at trip on the city tour bus from the port and get off in the middle of the city. Worth walking back to the ship through the back streets. Pretty much the same as a lot of European cities.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Again don't waste money on an excursion. Come off the boat an dwalk for 10 minutes to the station. 14.5 Euro return for 2 into Rome on the train. Get of at St Pietro station and take 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Wonderfull city to see, but get a map before you go.

Palermo (Sicily)

Stay on the ship. What a dump!Heaven knows why ships stop here, it's a midden.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Another lovely town. Head round to the Cathedral or just walk around the town.No need to take an organised bus as you can walk into the centre in 10 minutes.
