The travel arrangements made by MSC to transport us from home to Southampton were horrific. If we had been given the details of this we would have arranged our own transport but because we were not informed of these arrangements until a few days before departing we were unable to arrange suitable alternative transport. Perhaps you could take a leaf out of P & O's book. They supply coach or train travel options inclusive and from out area this would have taken 6 1/2 hours. As it was the actual travelling time was 13 1/2 hours with hours hanging around coach stations in between.

We were horrified that the balcony in our cabin was open and not enclosed the distance between the rails was frightening. and the balcony was so narrow we had to squeeze past each other to get on.

The food was a bit strange and sometimes a bit bland and the self service was pandemonium. The entertainment was a bit samey and not always entertaining with the exception of the mime artist but to watch flamenco dancing only for 45mins was too long a bit of variety was needed. We had children chasing each other up and down the deck corridors most of the day which we though was dangerous practise and could have caused an accident.

Cabin Review

Cabin 10

For a balcony cabin much smaller than we had on other cruises. Balcony we considered a danger as it was not enclosed and shower room was dreadful with very small shower and a shower curtain which stuck to you when you had a shower. I would point out that my husband and myself are not overweight. Hallway noisy due to kids running and chasing each other.
