  3. Emerald Princess
The ports of call were Tallin (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark), Arhuus (Denmark). Most people choose to embark in Copenhagen but Princess allows passengers to embark in Warnemunde, which is the port for Berlin. Berlin is about 3 hours by train to Warnemunde. We bought our train tickets online at www. bahn.de and caught our train at Berlin bahnof, the largest train station in Europe. We had to change trains in Rostock but had no trouble with the very efficient train system in Germany. We only booked the excursion with Princess for St. Petersburg. Every other port is very easy to see independently. Make sure to go to the port lectures on the ship as John Laurence is very helpful. The food on Princess has declined and we have noticed that the entertainment is not so great either. The ship was fine; nothing special. We really enjoyed all the ports of call except that we don't think Princess should stop in Arhuus, Denmark, as there is not much to see there. Instead, Princess should stop overnight in Stockholm, as we were only there until 1:30 p.m. and there was a lot to see so this was very disappointing. We spent a few days in Berlin and there is a lot to see and do. There are 5 museums on Museum Island and a lot of history with respect to WW2 and the Cold War in other museums.

Cabin Review

Cabin BC
The cabin was small but clean. The service was not very good as we would not get any beach towels in our room until we complained.
