We chose this cruise for the itinerary as there were quite a few port we hadn't been to. It was very Port Intensive with only 1 day at sea & in hindsight I think it would have been better to have had a couple of days at sea just for some R & R. We arrived to check in at Venice around 2.30pm - there weren't any queue's so got to check in straight away. We used the Celebrity Transfer from Marco Polo Airport which we found to be very efficient. The plus was that the ship stayed over night in Venice so we were able to do some sightseeing the day we arrived and also the next day. We were also able to go to the near by Co Op supermarket to purchase some wine.

We had a lovely cabin 9292 which is on the edge of the hump and had a huge balcony depth wise. The cabin position was really convenient as it is close to the Elevators - I'm a light sleeper so had some concerns but I needn't have worried as it was very quiet. The only down side & not Celebrity's fault was that 3 cabins next to us on the hump were occupied by a group who were family/friends and they had the balcony partitions opened up to make it 1 massive balcony. They were REALLY loud and as they made good use of the balcony throughout the cruise sadly for us and other surrounding balconies it meant that sitting out on the balcony to enjoy the tranquillity or even read a book was impossible! Our Cabin Attendant - Martin was great and very friendly, approachable & attentive. DH & I are pretty low maintenance customers and all we required was to have some ice twice a day and he made sure that we did.

This cruise was very Port Intensive & therefore was quite exhausting as there is so much to do & see. We went on a couple of boat trips which were organised by a fellow Roll Caller in Venice & Kotor also an organised walking tour around Koper which we thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't do any Celebrity organised tours as most of the ports are easy to DIY. The weather in June was really HOT even then so you need to be prepared!

Deluxe Veranda 1A

Cabin 1A

This cabin was on the edge of the hump - it had a really deep Balcony which is a bonus. The other plus is that it is near to the Elevators but even though I'm a light sleeper it was very quiet.
