This was the first time my boyfriend had cruised and the second time for me. We had never been to Europe and we felt this was the best way to see as much as we could without packing and unpacking.

Stateroom was a great size, king size bed, couch, several drawers, a desk/vanity with a good size drawer and plenty of storage areas. Great closet with lots of hangers. The bathroom is a very well designed small space. The shower is fabulous, water temperature controlled as well as water flow. Lots of places to store your toiletries. There are two American plugs at the desk/vanity and one over the sink in the bathroom. Hair dryer is okay, you have to hold the button down when you're using it, it's European current. The balcony is a good size, 2 chairs that recline and a table. You'll love it when entering each port. Our steward kept our ice bucket full all the time. We were located right near the elevators in room 7239, excellent location, there's a wall between your room and the elevators, so no noise!

Ship is beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the sundeck, where the lawn club is. Great place to see the ports. You can smoke up there, the guys went to enjoy cigars. Drinks are good, sometimes pretty strong. The pool area can get pretty crowded and really hot. The Solarium is nice for adults, no kids allowed, you may even get into the pool.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

We feel this is the best location on the ship. We were right off the elevators. No noise, there is a wall between the elevators and the stateroom. Plenty of storage space in the cabin, generous room size, king size bed with storage over the bed. Suitcases will fit perfectly under the bed. Lots of room in the closet with plenty of hangers. They leave the previous occupants' wire or plastic hangers there, probably had 60 hangers. Lots of drawers in the room, desk/vanity with a good size drawer. Hair dryer is just okay. Bathroom is great, lots of storage and a fabulous shower. Balcony is a good size, reclining chairs and a table. Lighting is sufficient, bathroom has a nightlight. There's a couch and a coffee table, large screen TV with On Demand free movies. Most of the channels are news channels. We loved this room and our steward Julio. Keep in mind NO IRON.
