My sister and I decided to take my mom and ourselves on our first cruise! We chose Carnival because it was the best price with great Caribbean places we wanted to visit.

Carnival definitely gave a big bang for our buck! We had an AMAZING time! We visited Cozumel, Mexico which was a lot of fun. We decided to just hang by the port and saw the smallest Hard Rock Cafe in the world. Taxi was easy to take from the port and not very expensive. The water was absolutely beautiful! Belize City, Belize was gorgeous! We did an excursion and climbed a Mayan Ruin which gave us a great view of the city. We also got to see some Mayans who were very nice and posed for pictures. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see the poor, middle class and upper class of living during the ride on the bus to the Mayan Ruin. We visited a beautiful resort, Black Orchid, for a lunch and boat ride. Definitely recommend the excursion. Isla Roatan, Honduras was gorgeous! We did a brief tour of the city and some shopping as well as lunch on the water. The view was amazing. We learned a lot about the island. Roatan is a very relaxed environment. Georgetown, Grand Cayman was rather commercial to me. We didn't choose to do any excursions. We just went around in town near the port for shopping. People were very nice, and it was weird to see the cars driving on the right rather than the left as we do in the US. Great shopping near the port.

On the cruise ship, we had so many shows and activities to go to that we couldn't keep up with everything. Service was amazing, the room was clean and spacious for 3 people. The food was delicious! Definitely try the steak restaurant for $30. It's like a $100 meal.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was very spacious for 3 people and clean. The staff was great with setting up the cabin for bed and cleaning. The balcony was definitely the way to go! I wouldn't cruise any other way!
