We have just returned from our first cruise and have to say what a wonderful time we had! The staff are the people who made this holiday for us they just couldnt do enough, they were all friendly polite and attentive in every way, especially the waiters and cabin crew, we had Nina who was so sweet, our cabin was cleaned twice a day and fresh towels each time if you need them! Each day there was a towel sculpture which was brilliant! Yes cabin was basic but totally adequate, 2 big wardrobes and comfy beds, we had a porthole which was handy! The only downside was the noisy women next door who delighted in returning back drunk and rowing in the early hours!.. Food.. despite a few stupid reviews saying the food was bland?? Dont know what they were eating but ours wasnt at all bland, there was a huge chioce and breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and midnight buffet in the beachcomber restaurant was excellent and also theme nights where food was freshly cooked! The only moan I have was a mass frenzy of people at the meal queues so my advice would be to eat early or later on..we tried the Island restaurant too, less busy but not open very long..entertainment was first class and 2 showings in the Ocean theatre was ok for everyone to see a top class show! Ross was a brilliant compere!

whoever said the ship smelt of smoke was talking rubbish! I dont smoke but I was with people that do..smoking is restricted to deck 8 and the top of deck 10 and as you are at sea you can not smell any smoke anywhere, so again its just the usual moaning whingers that like to have a moan at smokers!

The all inc drinks didnt cause problems, I was expecting groups of lager swilling drunks but was none of that! In fact I dont know how the ship will make profit out of that because apart from sangria and a few cocktails All drinks are included and im not talking half measures either! Brilliant! Read more
