Let me start with I am NOT a picky person and am very EASY to please. I do not single things out or try to get something for nothing. I had an AMAZING time and would cruise again and again. Just noticed some things that could be better.

I'll start out with my back ground. This was my 6th cruise and my 5th with Carnival. I cruised with my husband (7th Cruise), 4 children 23 yr old dtr (3rd cruise) and her 22 yr old fiancee (2nd cruise), my 13 and 12 year old sons and my 10 year old dtr.(1rst Cruise) We drove to NY early Wed Morning and had no problems whatsoever got in around 12:30PM. Hubby dropped us off and parked car right next door to port easy peasy. (Cost was 35$ a day but no hidden fees or extra costs paid $280 to park for the whole 8 days) not cheap but hey it is NY. Embarkation was easy peasy 15 min but we did get lucky and we were first when they opened a brand new line which shot us straight to the front line WHA WHO!!!!! Right on the Ship.

I will admit it was a really crazy lay out but first thing we do is always check things out. It does take a day or two to get it figured out and then no problems easy peasy. The pink didn't bother me at all. I didn't think it was that bad, not my taste but I could easily live with it for 8 days. Found our cabin and checked it out. We were on the 2nd deck staterooms 2314 and 2316. We usually have a balcony but being with the kids and 1 with ADD with impulsive behavior we decided to ease into things with them. (The guys) had an inside stateroom. A little small but never in the room. The girls had a Ocean View and had a much larger room with 3 beds a king size and a sofa bed all very comfortable and plenty of space for all of our clothes even though the 23 yr old hogged up most of the space hehe. We were very comfortable and happy we had our room. I will say the guys were very happy with their room as well but was too small and I am claustrophobic so didn't spend a lot of time in their room.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

We had 2 cabins 2314 and 2316 Interior 4C and Ocean View 6C.

The girls (3) were in the Ocean View LOVED it plenty of room and lots of space and plenty of closet and drawer space. Didn't care for the inside cabin but that was the guys and I didn't have to be in it. They loved it though. Said they had plenty of space and there were 4 of them. I need a window or balcony.

service was great and the steward asked us when we would go out in the morning and when we would go out for dinner. He slipped in and out while we were gone. Very friendly but didn't see him much due to us being gone all the time. Was excellent with cleaning the room though.
