Discovering Italy

Sail Date: May 2013
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
Embarkation: Barcelona
We sailed from Barcelona and embarkation was fine although we forgot we had priority check in.We didn't wait too long getting there at around 12.30.

We enjoyed our hectic days in Rome and Venice and as we hadn't been to any of the ports we really liked Italy and Dubrovnik.

The ship itself was very nice but we much preferred the Independence. The entertainment was not as good.We also felt that a lot of the staff were not very sure what they were doing.Maybe there was a lot of new staff on board.

We were in cabin 4580 which was one of the new cabins put in after the refurbishment. It was a great cabin on the same floor right next to the centrium. through a door at the side of guest services.

We never heard any noise and it was convenient for everything. It had a lovely big window because was part of the old restaurant and they used the windows.

The food was good but we didn't think much of the entertainment.overall we enjoyed our cruise. Less

Great room right next to the centrium with extra large window.Quiet location. We heard no noise at all.
