We had an outside cabin #1172. It had a large picture window. Our daughter Kym sailed with us and stayed in the same room. It was big enough for the three of us. Pat's sister & husband and their daughter were a few cabins down the hall. The service was outstanding from the cabin steward to the dining hall and the Lido Deck staff. Everyone made us feel at home. The shore excursions were great. In Skagway we went on to the Dog Sled Camp. It was a nice ride through Skagway and up the mountian on our Unimog to see the dogs and go for a ride. We also went on the canoe ride out to a Glaicer. It was a long boat ride but we saw lots of Whales & Eagles along the way. Then we took a short bus ride to the canoe. After a few minutes of paddling the motor went in the water. We then walked out to the Glacier. It was a great day. In Juneau we did the Bike & Brew tour. The bike ride was about 9 miles on a flat road out to Mendehall Glacier. Then it was back to town for the brew tasting. They let you sample quite a few different beers from Alaska. Ketchikan was our favorite stop. It is a very easy town to walk with plenty to see and do. We did the Snorkel Adventure. After a short bus ride to the shop they outfitted us with a 7mm wetsuit, boots, hood and gloves. It was 75 degrees out that day so we could not wait to get in the water. The water temps were in the mid 50s. We were not cold at all. We saw a lot of different sea creature you dot not see in Florida or the Caribbean, stars, jellies, sea cucumbers and kelp. It was another fun day and we highly recomend trying this out.

The entertainment onboard was good. The adult comedy was a little too "R" rated for our liking. Give me Bill Cosby any day. The food was just average in the main dining room. We did the anytime dining and never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. The choices on the Lido deck were very good, from Chinese food to deli sandwiches and the usual buffet items. They had 24 hour pizza & ice cream. The Serenity deck for adults was nice especially the day we cruised Tracy Arm Fjord it was nice and comfortable and there were no kids.

When we got back in Seattle we carried our on luggage off the ship and we were in a cab at 7:35 AM on our way to the airport, its about a $50. ride with tip.

Cabin 6A

Cabin was roomy enough for 3 of us to be comfortable. Window provided us with a good view. Plenty of closet space. Bathroom & shower were good size. A good cabin for the money. Cabin steward was very good.
