Too Many People...

Sail Date: June 2013
Destination: Bermuda
Embarkation: New York (Manhattan)
First I am going to start by saying the boat is AMAZING. As a boat, you will never see anything like it! As for NCL, they just want to squeeze as many people on it as possible to make more money. I would have rather paid more than have that many people on the ship. My cruise was sold out, not a single room was left.

Imagine 1,000 some odd people trying to get into a pool at 1 time, with a pool that is smaller than most peoples home pools. The pool area is not NEARLY big enough for the ship size. We were unable to get chairs at 7am...yes 7am we went to the pool and there was not a single chair on the pool deck or the 2nd deck (sun deck). We ventured up to the 3rd deck (another sun deck) and it was a wind tunnel that you couldn't even walk. Something DEF needs to be done about this area!!

Food was ehh.... Same menu almost every night in the restaurants. The specialty restaurants were good, if you're willing to pay. The Noodle bar is AMAZING, I'm actually kind of More glad that we discovered this toward the end of the cruise or ever meal would have been eaten there. For 2 of us to share an appetizer and each get a meal was about $15. We also went to the steak house Cagney's which was very good! Again, have to pay to eat there though. The wait at the restaurant was horrible that we went to the buffet more than we wanted.

The shows were all very good. Nothing bad at them at all.

Service was not up to par either. We waited 1 night for our food, after ordering it for 30 minutes.

Would def go to Bermuda again but NOT on the Breakaway or a Norwegian Ship!! Less
