We have just returned from a 7 night cruise of Norway and were sorry it could not have been 14 nights, it was wonderful. Having sailed previously on the Queen Mary2, What we got was what I expected, luxurious surrounds, excellent food, top class service, excellent roomy cabin and great entertainment. Cunard cater for the mature client and do not go in for climbing walls, wave machines etc., this was reflected by our fellow passengers, who on the whole were aged 40 upwards. My partner, who had never sailed on a Cunard ship before, was so impressed that she wanted to extend our stay.

The only disappointment of the cruise was the 'Party night', held in the Queens Room. The band, who usually played on an upper deck were very very loud, to the point that their music became just an uncomfortable noise. The organised party games were more suited to an 8 year old's birthday party. When I complained the next day to the Entertainment Director, I felt that I would have got a better response by talking to the wall, she was clearly not interested in any opinion that was not her own.

Sailing down the Fjords was just spectacular and just has to be experienced to appreciate the beauty of this scenery.

Cabin Review

Oceanview

Cabin EB

Large, comfortable cabin with an excellent steward who did a terrific job keeping the cabin spotlessly clean and fresh.
