We booked this cruise just 3 weeks in advance because the price was too tempting to pass up and now we know why. There were a few good things - great ports, great casino, and great room but overall it was pretty bad.

The food was extremely disappointing. My husband had pasta with sausage and green peppers on day 1 and it was missing sausage and green peppers. All he had was some pasta with watered down sauce. On day 2 I had ribs that were so tough, I couldn't even chew them. Husband's lobster was burnt. We ended up eating in the Steakhouse and paying for dinner for 2 nights because the MDR food was so bad. (The Steakhouse was very good.) The entertainment was almost non-existent and returning to the ship from ports was good for a 45 minute wait. The biggest joke to us was when we went to play BINGO the first day. We were given 1 card with 3 games on it even though we were playing 3 games. I went back to complain, asking where my other 2 cards were and they had no idea what I was talking about. They kept on insisting I had everything I needed to play. It turns out that at the end of each game, you have to unfold your folded in numbers and use the same cards over and over again. I guess Carnival is even too cheap to give you new BINGO cards for each game.

The ship was empty when we boarded so embarkation was smooth and very quick. We weren't in any rush to get off the ship (our flight wasn't until 2pm) and for that reason, we were able to secure late disembarkation and were allowed to stay on until around 10am. Both positives.
