I'll start by saying that I've been on many cruises so I don't expect gourmet food or great entertainment. I had a very good time on this cruise because of the people I was with and because I don't stress out over the little things. I'm not someone who says the food is awful just because my toast was cold, so this review is an honest overall review comparing Norwegian to the many other cruises I've been on:

ROOM: Room was small, but okay. Beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. I woke up every day with back pain and met several other people in the jacuzzi complaining of the same thing. I did ask for a foam mattress cover which helped a little.

ENTERTAINMENT: The usual cruise stuff. The comedian was very funny. The live music around the ship was okay, but the singers were lacking in talent and mostly boring to watch. The band by the pool was okay. The pool deck party was ruined because they had the volume up so loud, I literally could not stand it and had to move to the upper deck to get away from the speaker. (No, I'm not 70. Even the 20 somethings complained about this).

Cabin Review

Oceanview Picture Window

Had an obstructed view cabin. Was very obstructed view, but was what I expected. I just wanted the window to have some light in the room and didn't care about the view. Room was smaller than most ships but was okay. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
