We were initially concerned that the ship was going to be too big with too many passengers. Not at all true. We had a fantastic experience on and off the ship. The entertainment was better than any we had ever experienced. Top notch! The cruise director was also great.... and what a talent! We enjoyed everything.... the food was very good, of course. If I were to change anything, it would be our room selection. We had an interior balcony overlooking Central Park. That was very nice, but, next time we will choose an interior balcony overlooking the Boardwalk area. Some friends who sailed the Oasis prior to us advised, we would regret getting an inside balcony claiming it would be too noisy. Not at all true. Once you close and lock your sliding glass balcony doors, no sound penetrates through. As I said, next time our room will overlook the Boardwalk area where we will be able to view all the activities on the Boardwalk from our balcony, including the Zip line, which was also a lot of fun. By the way, for as large a ship as the Oasis is, our embarkation and debarkation times were unbelievably fast. They are so organized that we had no wait time. On other cruises, we had to sit in a holding tank area for excessively long periods of time. On the Oasis, that was not the case. It took under 1/2 hour from the time we arrived at the dock, to the time we were in our room. Now, that's FAST!!
The Central park view was very nice, but next time will do Boardwalk view. Our room was nice, but seemed smaller than on other ships. Some of the storage shelves were useless in that they were too narrow. I liked the fact that we could store our large suitcases under the bed.
