Sail Date: May 2013
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Freeport
We had been travelling through the USA for 3 weeks & finished off with a 4 day cruise to Grand Bahamas, boarding at West Palm Beach. After booking we had read some poor reviews so weren't sure what to expect, but obviously written by very picky people. Our experience was fantastic, and far exceeded our expectations. The ship whilst not large like some, is perfectly adequate for the number of people cruising - both legs of the journey were full, but we never felt over-crowded.

Would recommend an outside cabin, it was roomy, the ensuite a good size and very clean - in fact we were impressed with the overall decor and cleanliness of the whole ship, and people we met at dinner who had cruised on several cruise lines commented positively about this also.

The restaurants and food were great, the evening meal in Rio restaurant was far better than the usual buffet, with a great selection and quality food. The wine list was extensive, even great NZ wines at reasonable More prices.

The ship is lively from the time you step on board. Staff are friendly, attentive but not in your face. The entertainment in all the various bars and decks was outstanding, something for everyone and we enjoyed wandering from deck to deck. The spa was also great - massage and hair conditioning fab.
This was a fantastic first experience, the Bahamas is beautiful & we enjoyed our couple of days there before cruising back. Totally recommend Celebration Bahamas. Less

Cabin review: 6

6th deck - outside cabin with windows, roomy good sized bathroom, bed a little hard. Quiet, had no problems sleeping, very clean.
