This was our first cruise. We went to the Bahamas for my daughter's graduation.it was absolutly wonderful. it did rain the first two days and two of our excursions was canceled because of the weather, but i will get into tht later. First let me say, we got the F2F pass on all 3 rooms... E209,E215,E237. I would highly recommend this. When we got to the port about 9:50, we walked right in, they scanned our bags, then guided us to the F2F line. (while bypassing loads of people giving us evil looks because they were not allowed in the building yet). We expressed through all pics and check ins and was on the ship and in our room by 10:15. We unpacked, went to lido deck, ate lunch, went back to our rooms to change before most of the other guests were being allowed to board and then they still had to wait til around 2 or 3 before their rooms were ready. In the MDR Noel and his staff that served our table were excellent...my 8yrs old was embarrassed because on the first night's dinner after dessert they sung Happy Birthday to her. They knew it without me telling them!!!! Her favorite was Iwaynan(she pronounced it I-Won). Now out of the whole crew the number one person was Supaman....he was the one who cleaned our rooms. He always had a smile knew our names and faces, always went out of his way to make our trip special. I wish I knew how to let those in charge know how wonderful he was.On to Dinning....MDR dinning was wonderful.Food great. Lido deck food was good. The only draw back was at the Pizzeria, they never had a calzone when I went for one.On to the ports ....Freeport- it was raining off and on most of the day. The excursion for fishing was canceled....it did not ruin our day, we put the 8yr old in Camp Carnival and headed out to do some shopping, went by all the stalls, hit the Del Sol store, my 18yr old bought her 1st shot.(which was so exciting for her)then as it started to rain again we stopped in at Senor Frogs(a must). Can't say enough great things about Senor Frogs.Nassau- The teens and Hubby was going to do the power snorkel ...so the 8yr old went out to explore...we decided on a horse and buggy tour of the city...Very informative and funny driver about Nassau's history and laws...we then strolled around the stores by the docks, most stores were not even opened yet so we stopped by the docks and took pics of the fish (even by the ships you could see all the way down to the bottom, water was beautiful and clear. We headed back to the ship and was met by the teens informing us that because of the rain and weather that their excursion was canceled. Hubby decided to get tickets for Atlantis.About Atlantis...when you get of the tour bus do not wait in line for the tour, continue through the casino and follow signs for the waterpark....we had got a locker, changed into swimsuits, and did a ride before the tour that left the ship 1 hr before us made it to the lockers(note...Atlantis does not accept cash you need a credit/Debit card). As we were leaving we explored Atlantis, ended up seeing all of the aquarium, tanks, all the beaches, everything all for the half day price...you can do it all. you do not need to pay for each individual thing, if you do swim with dolphins, dive and stuff you will have to pay for those.Atlantis was beautiful. A great time for all.Little Stirrup Cay- as we had F2F pass we did not need a tender pass, went to guest services dedicated line which they then escorted us straight down to the tender boat...no waiting..unlike some.As the 8yr old and i had tickets for the Aqua park we just kept walking until we came upon a hammock and 5 lounge chairs by it. (note if going with kids...by the multi pass for Aqua park and slide..cheaper than buying separately) The teens and Hubby loved the Jet Ski tour. They continued to talk about it days later. The lunch crowd on the island was horrible though. not enough seats near the food. The day at sea was calming but sad knowing we would head home the next day. De-Embarking was a breeze with the F2F, we had a waiting room all for just F2F and gold and above members. When we got the all clear we had someone escort us all to elevators which lead to the port. We breezed by customs even with all the Liquor we bought on-board and in ports. Less than 20 min from elevators we were on our way home.
