We sailed out of Port Liberty on May 16th. Port Liberty is not an attractive port, but check and embarkation were a breeze. Took around just around an hour in all. Ship is definitely showing wear and tear, mainly in small places. There was rust in the bathroom and the carpet had stains. However, nothing that really distracted from our good time.

Staff was excellent, probably the friendliest and most personable ship we've ever been on. The captain was such a good sport. Frank and Leigh were a wonderful cruise director/manager team. Boo to Royal Caribbean that they're being split up in August! Food was okay to very good. Salad bar at lunch in the dining room beat the Windjammer by miles. We learned to eat our meals at the Dining Room or Cafe Promenade. Windjammer staff tries hard, but its a mess up there. One fellow passenger yelled at me for attempting to sit at a table he was saving for someone else! This cruise definitely seemed to attract an older crowd. Not sure if it was because most schools were still in session, or if this is typical. Loved the people we had dinner with. Royal Caribbean seems to due the best job of pairing you with people the same age than any other cruise line we've been. Earl (our waiter) and his magic tricks were the best. Julius did a super job of keeping our room spotless.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin H

Bathroom (like most on ships except Disney) is like a closet. I hate the shower as the water temperature varies and there is no way to turn it on without getting soaked by cold water. Ship was pretty quiet. We both slept like babies.
