Cabin 601 at the front of the ship with a forward looking sloping window was kept immaculate by 2 lovely cabin stewards.(a little discolouration on shower base but my wife is really fussy and it didn't bother her at all).all the public spaces on board so clean and well polished..Seven seas restaurant every night for evening meal was great and breakfast self service there or at the buffet on deck 10.All (and I mean all ) the staff were brilliant and the entertainment from the new team outstanding.

the itinery was wonderful better than the western med in my opinion. We did a mix of thomson excursions and our own and enjoyed them all.the organisation is extremely smooth.Ephesus is so amazing but not quite sure unless you are a good catholic why a good hour is spent at the house of Mary which to us was a waste of time that would have been better spent in Ephesus.we loved Olympia which we did on the local bus at 10 euros each ,6 euros for admission to the museum(amazing) and 2 euros each for the guide from the bus who toured us around the site without actually entering it.This might seem strange but the site is huge and all in our group thought this an excellent way to see Olympia. We were also taken to where the Olympic flame is lit which is off site and we were the only ones there.took the cable car up in Santorini fortunately only 2 boats in so only queued 15 mins .enjoyed the little museum by the church and walked down the steps back to the ship.Be warned if you are not fit and wearing suitable shoes don't walk it's very difficult and one of our passengers had to be rescued by donkey after falling.the old leper colony on Spinolonga was a very worthwhile trip too.only slight downside for us was on our return to Corfu airport which sadly is not designed for the number of planes that arrive on a Friday in season. To be fair thomson have lots of reps there and organise things quite well but it's still a bit of a trial.A great cruise on a great ship with a great crew with a great itinerary.we loved it.

Cabin Review

Cabin +

Cabin 601 great spot at front of ship in a quiet area and handy for everything .early morning docking can be noisy for a while as anchors and side thrusters are in use.hot water can be a little slow coming through but you soon adjust to that . Plenty of drawers and cupboard space quite adequate .shower works fine.nice to be able to get sky news and sky sports news and bbc news in cabin even though tv is of the old type.very happy with 601 but next time I will book a little further back to avoid the noise on early docking days
