This trip was for our 30 th anniversary. We flew ll hours from NYC on Hawaiian Airlines on Friday and arrived at the Ilikai hotel at 4:30pm. We rented a car from Thrifty at the airport (used the corporate #which can be found on CC). It was $28 to park, but there is cheaper parking in area if u want to look. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Marina. We ate at the Outback for dinner, and had our Mcdonalds breakfast on our balcony at 6Am. We had 8 am reservations for the Arizona, which was very moving. Rent the audio tour, it was great. We finished there at 10:30 and went to the Aloha stadium flea market which is nearby.

It was fun, but I wouldn't make a separate trip.

EMBARKATION: arrived before noon, it was easy. There was entertainment while we waited to enter the ship.Women received a flower lei, Men a beaded lei and of course the obligatory photo. When we boarded the rooms were ready.
