This was our first cruise. I finally talked my DH into going and it was the best decision that we could have made. There were a few bumps in the road, but it's that way with any vacation.

From the beginning.... We left town on Thursday so we could have a few days to explore Cape Canaveral. So we went to the Kennedy Space Center. For anyone who hasn't done that go. It was amazing. We did the guided tour definitely worth the extra money. IF you can do it in two days, we were there all day and didn't have time to see it all.

We took the transport from our hotel to the pier. We stayed at the Radisson at the Port. I was expecting this to take forever, but we left the hotel at 11ish and was on the ship having fish and chips by 12:30. After lunch to our room, no problems. Meet our room steward Garfield. Nice guy, didn't see him much and when we paged him for something it was easier to just ask someone in the hall way. He never came. Kept the room tidy though.
