This was our 8th cruise with Thomson. We have enjoyed every one.We decided to splash out this time with a deluxe cabin,on deck 6,which was really nice queen size bed, fridge, double windows, really pleased with it.

We did find the food especially in the lido (buffet service)was not what we had on previous cruises. The service in the main restaurant was very poor,we had to ask for water on a numerous occasions.on the promenade deck there was no waiters coming round asking if you would like a drink, same applied on the top deck.all the other cruises we had done before had waiters on these decks.

We noticed a lot of cutbacks with staff.the excursions,we did most, pyramids, cairo museum,beirut,jurusalem,bethlehem,allanya,e.t.c.thought the local guides were very poor.on our trip to juruesalem, the bus went without 2 passengers, who were lucky to get on another Thomson bus!very badly organization.entertaintment very poor, apart from meetch & the peakles (group) very good.the weather was superb every day.Was a good cruise ,but we did pay a lot of money,so we don't hink we got the service we are used to.we boarded in sharm el sheik (Egypt) disembarked mamaris (turkey)
