There were 2 of us on this cruise and we are both in our mid 20's. This was only our second cruise, our first was also with Royal Caribbean but on the Freedom of the seas. Having loved that cruise I was a bit hesitant booking a smaller, older ship.
We visited Orlando for several days pre-cruise and the night before the cruise we stayed in the InterContinental Miami. It was a fabulous hotel. We were upgraded to a ocean view room for free.
As stated before we were quite hesitant booking this older ship for fear of it being run down or not enough to do. Boy were we wrong! I was amazed at the condition of the ship for being almost 21 years old, you could really only find problems if you were looking for them. One example when we got on board there was a black mark about 1.5 feet long going across our stateroom door. By the time we came back from dinner it was painted over.
9070 - great room, close to aft elevators. room was decent size. View was a little obstructed but it was not too bad. No noise issues from neighbors.
