Just returned from 1 week cruise MSC Preziosa in the Mediteranean. The ship was fabulous, lots of restaurants, bars and entertainment. You had to pay for a few restaurants onboard, but the rest where free. They didn't dispay any prices outside of the Pay restaurants , but you could go in and ask to see the price list. The entertainment was wonderful, both in the theatre and the main atrium. In the bars service was hit & miss, and sometimes it was difficult to get a seatespecially after the theatre finished you were lucky to get served in a bar. The food was very good, but never served very hot. There was a variety of so many different dishes. At breakfast it was better to eat in the restaurant as far to may people arrived at the same time, and it was push and shove, as Italians and Spanish dont queue!. My criticsm was there were people using the buffet restaurant at all times with white dressing gowns on! These were provided in cabins. This should be stopped. On the whole everyone but the Reception staff were very good, A fabulous ship with lots of different Nationalities, very noisy at times with lots of children running around. If you enjoy child free ships dont go on MSC The major complaint was you had to vacate your cabin at 7am on departure day. Go to Theatre for disembarkation at 8.15am. , no information was given after that. Then leave the ship for airport! Our flight was 2.30pm. Genoa airport is a nightmare, no one spoke English, no inforation desk. We were stranded for 5 hours. No Communication from MSC terrible. We had a disabled passenger who needed assiistance and we couldn't find anyone to help. Eventually we did find an MSC lounge with 3 MSC girls talking, they had no regard for passengers!! Fortunately it didn't spoil our holiday, but MSC need to get their act together for disembarkation
