The cruise itself was awesome - itenary and number of days were perfect. Weather was great. If you are younger and looking for a party cruise - this isn't it...lots of grey-haired people who are there to relax and enjoy their vacation :)
I would definitely check into other reviews on cruisecritic.com if you like to snorkel - we didn't plan on snorkeling in Barbados and should have...although we did take a private cab and saw Harrison's Caves - awesome place to visit!
Don't bother with Magic Ice Bar in St. Thomas - you can go there directly yourself and save $$ for the same tour. Not really worth $20...
Cabin Review
We booked this cabin specifically for the location - right off of the Terrace Pool, close to the bar and buffet restaurants. many prior posts on Cruise Critic were favorable so what the heck. Had we known that it was approximately a 10x10 room with NO couch, only a queen bed, we would have definitely paid for the balcony cabin. I believe R751 is/was the SAME price as the balcony cabins on the ship.
Also, the shower is so small!! You can't move your arms out or the shower curtain sticks to you!
A/C never really kicked on and cooled off the room until evening; the cabin steward asked us to keep the drapes closed all the time so that the a/c could work...
The Terrace pool is great - but don't count on sitting/lying back there. It seems to be a favorite of everyone's and the towels/books are already claiming their property by 7:30 a.m. Best place to lounge if you want relaxation and no entertainment would be up towards the front of the ship by the Sanctuary. Always a chair/lounger available.
