After cruising on the Epic a few months after she made her maiden voyage, I felt I would never go on another NCL cruise. The cabins were unlivable, horrible hard beds,(did not have the soft pads to go on the mattress top to help soften the bed) see through areas that should be private, dingy balcony furniture, no deck to walk, jog on, convinced me this was not the cruise line for us.

We wanted to go to Hawaii and after some research I realized Pride of America belonging to NCL was the only logical approach to seeing the islands. We sailed on her last week.

What a difference and nearly all positive. The beds were comfortable, the food in the buffet was so good there was no reason to go to any of the other food stations/restaurants, there was a part outside deck and the overall feeling was friendly.
