After a very unpleasant Panama Canal cruise with Carnival (during the Hurricane Frances hiatus) I was somewhat apprehensive starting out on this cruise. Living in Vancouver embarkation with my two sisters was a breeze as we did not have the air travel and transfers to contend with.

Our cabin was at the aft of the ship with a balcony. Highly recommended as it provides a panoramic view leaving and returning.

Our cabin was large enough for three adults, had lots of storage space and was kept fully stocked and clean by our entertaining cabin steward Daniel. He also surprised us everyday with his very imaginative towel animals which could be found hanging from the most unexpected places.
