Our first cruise ever. Weather is not in RCL's control. Ship was comfortable in good and bad weather. Pool was fine, hot tub is fine. Windjammer food edible, repetitive. Dining room fare a step up. Portofino was enjoyable. We are not the types to heap loads of food on our plates nor make more than one go through the chow line. It was acceptable. Room was adequate although we found you can loose track of daylight in an interior room. Bar service was good and the pool bar tenders were especially fun. Casino was nice although they do allow smoking. The smoking sections on the upper deck was something we tried to navigate away from. We were on vacation and tending to want to relax more than partake in the other feature RCL offers customers. There was plenty of activities if you cared to get involved.

The most notable thing about the cruise is the exceptional employees. Our room attendant was exceptional! Very positive attitude and attentive to any small request.

The rest of the crew worked just as hard and all were welcoming and friendly.

Make sure you have the attendant put the single beds together. Make sure whoever takes the upper bunk can navigate in and out especially if the room is dark. Bathroom shower entrance may be tight for large folks but not an issue for us.
